| TEXpro is a sophisticated, integrated,
modular manufacturing and distribution package written specifically for textile
manufacturers. The software is currently in use in over 20 textile manufacturing
companies, including weavers, knitters, dyers, finishers and CMT operations. The software
fully accommodates the requirements of both discrete and continuous manufacturing
processes. We have been implementing business solutions in this important vertical market for well over a decade and our experience and knowledge of the traditions, requirements and demands of the textile sector is amongst the best in the computer industry. TEXpro has been developed in and runs against Speedbase, a proprietary database and development environment from Misys plc. TEXpro is frequently implemented alongside the highly regarded Global 3000 accounting and payroll package, also from Misys plc, which is also developed in Speedbase. TEXpro comprises a suite of standard core modules which are easily tailored to meet the particular requirements of clients, giving the stability and robustness of a packaged solution with the flexibility to achieve a precise fit to business requirements at low cost. |

| The software has been developed over a period
of in excess of 10 years. The current release of TEXpro has strong management information
functions, including extensive query by example facilities and a large suite
of standard reports. Reports can be amended and further reports added using a
user-friendly reporting tool supplied with the package. Data can be downloaded into SQL
for more detailed analysis, or to spreadsheets such as Lotus or Excel for user
manipulation. We have recently introduced an ODBC driver which allows data held in both
TEXpro and Global 3000 to be accessed through industry-standard graphical decision support
packages such as Seagate Crystal Reports 6.0. If you would like to discuss TEXpro or if you would like a copy of a detailed functional overview of the software then please contact David Blandford at Global Distribution dblandford@island.net.au |
